PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED LIST

  1. Introduction

    1. Before you list your item, you need to find out if your item is allowed on and if the type of item is subject to certain restrictions to avoid potential issues with your listing. As a seller, you are ultimately responsible for making sure that selling an item is legal in the eyes of the law.

  2. List of prohibited and restricted items

    1. Following are list of prohibited and restricted items:

      1. Any product, goods or services which are not / not related to medical equipment and related spare parts and accessories. Primedeq shall reserve the right to decide as to whether a particular goods, product or service falls under the above mentioned criteria or not.

      2. Any medical equipment spare parts or accessories not conforming to the medical devices or equipment policy detailed below.

    3. Medical devices policy

      1. The sale of medical devices is highly regulated by the government because of potential dangers and associated health risks with the use of such devices.

      2. Sellers may not list medical devices on the Website that require government authorization for distribution to third parties.

      3. Further, Primedeq requires sellers of medical devices to not be in violation with each of the following, when listing such items on the Website:

        1. Sellers must handle all medical devices in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions before posting. Sellers may not list any medical device that has been altered in any way that significantly changes the product's performance or safety specifications.

        2. By listing in this category, sellers certify that he / they are authorized to sell and will comply with applicable laws to the sales of professional medical devices specifically the provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.

      4. Radiology items must be approved by AERB
